Refund policy

Returns

We offer online returns and exchanges* via our Returns Portal.

FULL PRICE  ITEMS

Full price items are eligible for a refund, exchange or store credit within 14 days of delivery unless a sale code has been used. If a discount code has been used the item will only be able to be returned for store credit, unless the item is faulty. 

TEMPORARY PROMOTIONS

Items purchased during a temporary promotion or with a discount code are eligible for exchange or store credit only within 14 days of delivery.

Refunds are not available.

SALE ITEMS

Sale items are eligible for store credit only,  issued as a digital gift card valid for three years. This includes items purchased using a welcome discount code. 

FINAL SALE ITEMS

Items marked FINAL SALE are not eligible for return, exchange or refund unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

FAULTY ITEMS

If you believe your item is faulty, please email hello@makuthelabel.com with your order number, images and a brief description.

If deemed faulty, we will arrange a replacement, refund or store credit in line with Australian Consumer Law.

RETURN EXCEPTIONS

Caps cannot be returned due to health and hygiene reasons.

CONDITIONS OF RETURN

Items must

  • Be returned within 14 days of delivery
  • Be unworn, unused and unwashed
  • Have original tags attached
  • Be in original packaging
  • Be free from makeup, marks, odours and damage

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused

This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

AFTERPAY AND PAYMENT METHODS

Returns are assessed based on the item type and sale status, not the payment method used.

Afterpay purchases follow the same returns policy.
